"He who conceals his sins will not succeed, but he who confesses and abandons [them] will obtain mercy."(28:13)
When we are honest with ourselves , with what we are going through no matter how uncomfortable,awkward disturbing etc it may feel, it is still great news.Why?
When we are not honest with ourselves all steps we take to correct , grow, improve will have minimal or no impact as they are not authentic and do not hit home.
When we are honest, admit to what we have done,do feel etc we have mercy on ourselves and can truly take the steps to let it go, move on and forward.
