W e can with our words either build people up or tear them down. W e have to take responsibility for our words , paying them the requisite attention for when we build people up we build the world and when our words add life we change the world

To be a "know it all" to arrogantly think that we have all the answers, that it is our way or the highway is testimony to a voluntarily dull mind.
As no matter how brilliant we may feel we are , we only have our perspective.
Even G-d who does not need us said “Let us make man in our image” (1:26)(where G-d "consulted" the angels)and immediately afterwards it is said “And G-d created man in His image"
So why the "Let us..." ? G-D does not need the opinion of anyone.I would suggest ,to teach us , among many other things, the value of dialogue , being open to hearing and learning from others ,from different perspectives .
For we are all different expressions of G-d on our unique journeys and learning from( not necessarily agreeing with) each other can widen our vision , broaden perspectives, reveal potential allow us to taste the delectable side of life that we may not have appreciated before.

Many times we jump into things with the best intentions at work,in our personal lives, in general and we find what we thought we knew does not apply or his hard to apply and the results are far from what we intended.
Place enduring value on what you do and treat all that you do as a chance, with gratitude for every second of life,to pour your best into it at any one time, no matter what it is, no matter your circumstances and then you give yourself an opportunity to find the majestic in the seemingly mundane,the unbelievable possibilities that become open to you as your soar continuously striving for the greatest version of you,a true gift to the world.

This is achieved by preparing beforehand, putting your heart into it,showing the value you place on it .Then knowing when to slow down a little and pay attention to where your field of activity is , who your audience is , who or what you are dealing etc with thus making sure as they say" the cloth fits the table".Then you have the fertile ground on which to interact, to build, to develop, to achieve, to succeed in whatever you are doing and find in many case the results that once escaped you.

A false witness(words) will be lost, a person who listens will speak words that endure- Mishle 21:28

Wholeheartedly listening to another without an agenda but a desire to hear opens the heart and thus the words such a person(the listener) when he/she speaks will be heard , enter the heart and thus endure.
